Terminals & Connections
YVR has two main passenger buildings: the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal (connected internally, no shuttle needed). A separate South Terminal (approx. 1 km south, served by a free shuttle running every 15–20 min) handles floatplanes and small regional carriers (Pacific Coastal, Harbour Air). Air Canada, WestJet, and all major international carriers use the main Domestic/International complex.
Car Rental Desks
All major rental counters are on the Ground Level (Level 1) of the Parkade/Rental Car Centre directly attached to the main terminal building, accessible via a covered walkway from the arrivals hall — approximately 200 m from the Domestic arrivals exit. Typical operating hours are 06:00–23:00 daily, though Hertz and Enterprise may extend to 24h during peak periods.
Return Fuel Stations
Petro-Canada at 3771 Miller Rd, Richmond (approx. 1.2 km from the rental return facility, open 24h). Shell at 8780 Cambie Rd, Richmond (approx. 2.0 km northeast of the terminal, open 24h). Chevron at 3631 No. 3 Rd, Richmond (approx. 3.5 km north, open 06:00–00:00, not 24h). Refuel before entering the terminal loop as there are no fuel stations on Airport Rd itself.
