Terminals & Connections
Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) has 2 terminals: Terminal 1 (T1, Departures/Arrivals for most flights) and Terminal 2 (T2, used occasionally for charter and low-cost overflow). A free shuttle bus connects T1 and T2 approximately every 15–20 minutes, journey ~5 minutes. Wizz Air, Ryanair, and Blue Air historically used T1; TAROM, Lufthansa, KLM, and most full-service carriers also operate from T1.
Car Rental Desks
All major car rental counters are located on the ground floor (Arrivals level) of Terminal 1, inside the main arrivals hall. There is no separate car rental building; vehicles are collected from the dedicated car rental parking area (Parking P1) directly adjacent to T1, approximately 80–100 meters from the terminal exit. Standard opening hours are 07:00–23:00 daily, though some desks (Hertz, Avis, Europcar) offer 24-hour service upon request.
