Terminals & Connections
DUS has one main terminal building divided into three concourses: A (Schengen, Lufthansa hub), B (non-Schengen, long-haul), and C (low-cost, mostly Eurowings). All concourses are connected airside and landside within the same building; no shuttle needed. The SkyTrain automated monorail connects the terminal to the long-stay car parks and the rental car center in approximately 2–3 minutes.
Car Rental Desks
All major rental counters are located in the Car Rental Center on level 0 (ground floor) of the terminal building, arrivals hall, accessible directly from baggage claim without leaving the building. The SkyTrain also connects to the remote rental area (P3/P4 zone) for vehicle pickup, roughly 500 meters from the terminal, reachable in under 5 minutes. Standard opening hours are 06:00–23:00 daily, with some desks offering 24h service.
Return Fuel Stations
Aral station on Flughafenstraße / Kennedydamm, approximately 1.2 km from the terminal, open 24h. Shell station on Lohausen Str. / Am Hülserhof (Düsseldorf-Lohausen), approximately 2 km north of the airport, open 24h. Esso/ExxonMobil station on Kaiserswerther Str. 390, approximately 3 km southeast, open 24h.
