Terminals & Connections
Dublin Airport has 2 terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). T1 handles Aer Lingus regional, Ryanair, and most non-EU/non-Star Alliance carriers; T2 handles Aer Lingus mainline, United, Delta, and Star Alliance partners. A free inter-terminal shuttle bus (747 link) runs every 10 minutes, journey approximately 5–8 minutes; passengers can also walk the covered internal route in roughly 10–12 minutes.
Car Rental Desks
All rental desks are located in the Rental Car Centre (RCC), a dedicated multi-storey building directly opposite T1 arrivals on the ground floor of the car park structure, approximately 200 metres from T1 exit and 400 metres from T2 via a covered walkway. Counter hours are typically 06:00–23:30 daily for major brands, with some offering 24-hour service by arrangement. Vehicle collection and return are from levels 1–3 of the same RCC building.
Return Fuel Stations
Circle K at Swords Road (R132), approximately 1.2 km south of the airport on the main access road, open 24 hours. Applegreen at Pinnock Hill, Swords Road, approximately 2.0 km south of T1, open 24 hours. Texaco on Old Airport Road (Santry), approximately 2.5 km from T1, open approximately 06:00–23:00 daily.
