Terminals & Connections
VIE has one main terminal building split into three piers: Pier East, Pier West, and Pier North (Sky Link). Pier North (Terminal 3 zone, opened 2012) is connected to the main terminal via a 5-minute walk through the landside shopping mall and airside corridors — no shuttle required. Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, and most Star Alliance carriers use Pier North; easyJet and Ryanair primarily use Pier West gates.

All major car rental counters are located in the Arrivals Hall on Level 0 (ground floor) of the main terminal, in the dedicated Car Rental Center directly opposite baggage claim belt area, approximately 50–80 meters from carousel exits. Rental car lots and vehicle pickup are in the multi-storey car park P2/P3, accessible via a covered walkway approximately 200 meters from the Arrivals Hall. Standard opening hours: 06:00–24:00 daily, with some desks offering 24/7 service (Hertz, Avis, Sixt).

BP Tankstelle on Schwechater Straße (B10), approximately 1.2 km northwest of the terminal, open 24h. OMV Station on Wiener Straße (B10) in Schwechat town center, approximately 2.5 km from the terminal, open 24h. Jet Tankstelle on Himberger Straße in Schwechat, approximately 3 km southeast, open 06:00–22:00 (not 24h).
