Terminals & Connections
BCN has 3 active terminals: T1 (main international hub, Star Alliance/SkyTeam/LCC long-haul), T2 (divided into T2A, T2B, T2C, used by Vueling, easyJet, and charter operators). T1 and T2 are connected by a free shuttle bus running every 6–8 minutes, journey approximately 10 minutes; no airside connection exists. Ryanair primarily uses T2B.
Car Rental Desks
All major rental desks are located in T1 on Level 0 (arrivals floor, ground level), signposted immediately after baggage claim exit. T2 has a smaller rental desk cluster in T2B arrivals hall, also Level 0. Typical counter hours are 07:00–24:00 daily; some desks (Hertz, Avis, Europcar) operate 06:00–01:00 during peak season.
Return Fuel Stations
Repsol station on Autovia de Castelldefels (C-32B) near Terminal access road, approximately 1.2 km from T1, open 24h. Cepsa on Carrer de la Feixa Llarga (exit towards L'Hospitalet), approximately 2.5 km from T2, open 24h. BP station on Carretera de l'Aeroport (C-31A slip road toward El Prat de Llobregat), approximately 3 km, open 06:00–22:00.
