Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has a single terminal building (Schiphol Plaza) with three departure halls (1, 2, 3) and one arrivals hall interconnected landside. No inter-terminal shuttle is needed; all halls are walkable within 5–15 minutes via the central Schiphol Plaza concourse. KLM and SkyTeam dominate Halls 1–3; low-cost carriers (easyJet, Transavia) primarily use Hall 3.

All car rental counters are located on Arrival Hall ground floor level (Floor 0), Schiphol Plaza, beneath the train station. The rental car pickup lots (Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Sixt, Enterprise, Budget, National) are in the P-Rental car garage directly adjacent to Schiphol Plaza, accessible by a covered walkway (~150 m). Counters typically open 06:00–23:00 daily; some brands offer 24h key-drop return.
