Terminals & Connections
FRA has 2 terminals: Terminal 1 (T1, satellite concourses A/B/C/Z) and Terminal 2 (T2, halls D/E/F/G). Lufthansa operates primarily from T1 (concourses A/B/C/Z) and T2 (halls E/F/G); intercontinental Star Alliance partners use T1. Inter-terminal transfer via SkyLine automated people mover, running every 2 minutes, journey ~2 minutes; also connected by a pedestrian walkway taking ~10 minutes.
Car Rental Desks
All major car rental counters are located in the Car Rental Center (CRC) on Level 0 (ground floor) of Parking Garage P36, Terminal 1 side. The CRC is accessible via a covered walkway from T1 Arrivals Hall B (Level 1) taking approximately 5 minutes on foot, or via free shuttle from T2. Typical opening hours are 06:00–23:00 daily, though Hertz and Sixt maintain extended or 24h desks.
Return Fuel Stations
Aral station at Cargo City Süd, Unterschweinstiege, ~1.2 km from the CRC, open 24h. Shell station on Mannheimer Strasse (B43), Kelsterbach, ~3.5 km from CRC, open 24h. Total/Access station on Langer Kornweg, Kelsterbach, ~4 km from CRC, open 24h.
