Terminals & Connections
CDG has 3 terminal complexes: T1 (circular, Star Alliance hub), T2 (subdivided into 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G - Air France main hub at 2E/2F), and T3 (low-cost, Easyjet). Inter-terminal connection via CDGVAL automated shuttle, free, runs 24/7, every 4–8 minutes; T1↔T2 takes ~8 minutes, T2↔T3 ~5 minutes. T2G is connected to T2F by covered walkway (~10 min on foot) and is not directly served by CDGVAL.
Car Rental Desks
All major rental companies are located in the Roissypole building (also called 'Le Dôme'), directly adjacent to T2 and accessible via CDGVAL stop 'Roissypole'. From T1, take CDGVAL (~6 min) to Roissypole. Rental counters are on the ground floor (Niveau 0) of the Roissypole building; vehicle pick-up is in the attached multi-story car park P3 Roissypole, Level 1. Standard opening hours are 06:00–23:00 daily, though Hertz and Europcar offer extended near-24h service.
Return Fuel Stations
Total Access station on RD104 (Route de Roissy), ~1.2 km south of T2 entrance, open 24h, self-service. BP station on N2 (Route Nationale 2) in Goussainville, ~4 km from CDG T1, open 24h. Esso station on Avenue de l'Europe in Roissy-en-France village, ~2.5 km from T2, open 06:00–22:00 (not 24h). The Total Access on RD104 is the closest and most reliable pre-return option.
