Terminals & Connections
London Stansted Airport has a single terminal building. No inter-terminal shuttle needed. Ryanair is the dominant carrier; easyJet, Jet2, and other LCCs also operate from the same terminal.
Car Rental Desks
The car rental desks are located in the terminal building on the ground floor arrivals hall. The car rental village (vehicle pickup) is in the multi-storey car park directly connected to the terminal via a covered walkway, approximately 200 meters from the arrivals exit. Major companies (Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Sixt, Enterprise, Budget, Alamo, National) are all in this consolidated car park on level 0. Most counters open 06:00–23:00, some 24h subject to flight schedules.
Return Fuel Stations
1) BP Stansted on London Road (A1250), Stansted Mountfitchet, approximately 1.8 km southwest of the terminal, open 24h. 2) Tesco Extra Fuel Station on Thremhall Avenue (A120 service road), Bishop's Stortford, approximately 4.5 km west, open 06:00–22:00 Mon–Sat, 07:00–22:00 Sun. 3) Esso on London Road, Bishop's Stortford town centre, approximately 7 km west, open 24h.
